What are you going to do on your next date?
Dinner...A Movie...Hang Out & Watch TV?
Why not trying something different for once? Here are some great ideas for dates you can try (and most are pretty cheap dating ideas).
Dating Idea #1 - Go Get Ice Cream Together
Everyone likes ice cream, which makes this idea great for first time dates. Keep in mind your dating partner may be trying to "watch their weight" so you can go to an ice cream place that has non-fat yogurt as well. Gelato is a perfect fun treat if you have a gelato shop in your town.
Ice cream brings out the kid in everyone and tends to make people feel young and happy like they were when they were kids. When people are feeling happy, they walk to talk more and have an overall better time.
Dating Idea #2 - Go Workout Together
Exercise = Endorphins & Endorphins = Happiness.
Therefore, Happiness = Good Times.
Sure, exercising may not sound like the most fun date idea at first. Getting all sweaty and out of breath, sore muscles and hard work, but after you finish exercising, you will both be feeling great. The gym is the perfect environment for chatting away and learning about one another. And of course, after the workout and if things go well, there may be an option of showering together :)
Dating Idea #3 - Go To An Arcade & Play Games
Not in a typical sense, but go to a video game arcade and have a little "friendly" competition. Of course, don't get too competitive and end up making your date mad, but just have fun.
Another great idea is to play those games where you can win tickets. Then together with your date, find a deserving child to give the tickets to that you've won. Watch the child's eyes light up with excitement and feel the magic of giving with your date. Great bonding experience to share that kind of memory.
Dating Idea #4 - Go To A Coffee Shop
Coffee shops are meant to be places where friends and gather, sip mochas and gossip. A lot can be learned about a date by an hour in a coffee shop with them. If you get stuck for things to talk about, there are generally plenty of people you can get ideas from. People watching is a hobby that many people enjoy.
Coffee shops are a great first date environment too. They are quiet, but not too quite, romantic but not too romantic, casual, but not too casual. Give it a try and see what you think.
Dating Idea #5 - Chat On Instant Messenger
Even if you are in the same house, each of you can get on instant messenger and chat online if you have two computers. It's much easier to flirt for most people when they are typing than if they are face to face with their date.
It can help shy people act however they want and not feel shy. You can think about what you want to say without accidentally blurting out something you didn't mean. Some people are better writers than speakers, which means some IM chats can have deeper conversations than you may get face to face.
Dating Idea #6 - Play Card Games
The old saying goes, "Those who play together stay together" and there is a good reason for that. Most people go through their lives bored andoverworked. We rarely take the time to genuinely have fun. Playing games is a nice way to remove yourself from the hustle and bustle of busy life and just have fun.
You can play card games or board games, with a group or just you and your date. It really depends on how long you have been dating and what your interests are.
