5 Fun Places To Go Out On A Date
It’s sometimes hard to come up with good spots to take your date. If you’re just meeting someone for the first time, you want to be able to break the ice so you can feel more relaxed and comfortable. For some people, going out to dinner on a first date is uncomfortable. It’s hard to strike up conversation while you’re in the midst of chewing.
Some people feel awkward eating in front of someone they don’t know. It’s also difficult to constantly create conversation if you have no history or common friends. Take a date somewhere that is fun and light hearted. Not everything needs to be candlelight dinners. Some of the best dates I’ve ever been on have been more on the casual and fun side. Here are 5 places you and your date are sure to have a blast.
- Amusement Parks – You’re never too old to enjoy an amusement park. With all of the games and rides, there is never a dull moment or chance for boredom. Here you can be care free and silly allowing your true personality to shine. Just make sure your date doesn’t have a weak stomach.
- Bowling is another fun thing to do while out on a date. Many bowling allies have nighttime adult only bowling. They sometimes play music too. It doesn’t matter if you’re good or not, it’s always fun and a great way to let loose. Many times people go out on dates in restaurants or bars where you can’t hear the other person speak. At a bowling alley, you’ll be able to have fun, enjoy each others personality while getting to know them.
- Miniature Golf is also a great spot to take a date. Again, it’s another place where you can be goofy and silly while talking and getting to know your date.
- Ice Skating or Roller Skating/Roller Blading are fun things to do on a date. Most places rent the skates and the fees are minimal. I think staying active is a way that most of us can feel relaxed and not have the pressure of creating conversation while sitting face to face. Plus it creates a fun memory you can both talk about on future dates.
- Fishing or Boating is another great fun date. Of course you want to make sure your date doesn’t get vertigo or sea sick before you plan the outing. On a beautiful day boating can be a wonderful way to spend a date. You can rent a boat or go out with a fishing crew. There are also dinner cruises that you can go on. I had a friend who went on a murder mystery cruise and loved it. It was such a fun way to enjoy a date.
